Dare to Dream Week


 November 13-17 2017 Dare to Dream week will focus on the future of Titan scholars from grades 7th through 12 and to support McLain High School for Science and Technology  Vision Statement…. to ensure that ALL scholars are college and career ready when they graduate from our school. This runs throughout the scholars' educational experience here at McLain.  All goals, objectives and decisions will be based on this vision. Our scholars deserve and we should demand nothing less.” 

November 14 2017 - 4-7 pm Oklahoma's Promise  Application Night - This event will be held in the Library. Oklahoma’s Promise allows 8th, 9th or 10th-grade students from families with an income of $55,000 or less to earn a college tuition scholarship. Students must also meet academic and conduct requirements in high school. Families are strongly encouraged to come out and apply for this program 


November 17 2017- 8:30 am -10:30 am Dare to Dream College and Career Fair-  Encouraging students to explore career pathways they are interested in is a key way to demonstrate the relevance of a college degree. Dare to Dream College and Career Fair raises awareness about the importance of college, connects scholars  with many different professions and gives community members a chance to share their expertise with students.
